Abstract: The issue of industrial development is one of the most urgent in view of the need to ensure the growth and renewal of the economy not only in modern Ukraine but also in many countries of the world. It is at the center of heated discussions among politicians, government, business, the community of scientists and experts, civil society, and its views and views differ greatly. So far, Ukraine has not formed a coherent and systematic understanding of the directions of necessary transformations and development goals that would be perceived by all economic agents and stakeholders as a coherent transformation program.

The article describes the way to overcome the crisis in the country with the help of the theory of the well-known Scottish economist and philosopher Adam Smith. Absolute Benefits Theory emphasizes that countries only export the goods they produce at a lower cost (in production of which they have an absolute advantage), and import those goods produced by other countries at a lower cost (the production of which is an absolute advantage. The authors of the article highlight the international trade in the agricultural sector at the expense of which the economy of the country will be able to have a positive dynamics not only in the near future, but also in the years to come. After the full flowering of agricultural production, the country can gradually begin to search for a new vector of development, as Ukraine is very rich in minerals and minerals, coal, metalworking and gas industries are promising for our country.
