Abstract: The article presents the results of research the diversification as an economic phenomenon, system of views on diversification and their systematization, narrow and broad importance of diversification of activity of the enterprise, its content and form, necessity of economic management and the formation of a conceptual model of an economic measures system for diversification of enterprises activities.

The author summarizes and systematizes the basic approach to identify of strategy for diversification, theoretical and methodological concept of economic management of diversification of enterprise’s activity and identifies the starting points for the formation of the system of economic measures. Also, this article highlights the concept of diversification in two aspects (managerial and economic). Based on this, it was proposed to formation of a measures system based on the concept of strategic controlling. The author proves the existence of two positions of measurement of diversification. Firstly, it is a measurement the results of strategy (whether the goal is achieved). Secondly, the author insists on measuring precisely process of achieving the goals. To evaluate the effectiveness of the strategy on the second criterion, the author proposes to consider this process from the perspective of project management.

Accordingly, it was proposed to create a system of measuring instruments that would allow measuring the outcome of the strategy and the strategy process, based on the combination of economic and non-economic diversification metrics in the economic aspect.

In additional, the perspective models for selecting and monitoring indicators of the economic measuring system of diversification of enterprise’s activities was determined.
