Abstract: The article presents the results of an analysis of trends in the development of the educational technology market in the world and in Ukraine. Continuous development of educational tools using modern technology, not only in the field of education but also in the structure of additional online education, provides enormous opportunities for gaining professional skills whenever and wherever convenient. The dynamic implementation of digital technologies into the educational process is the most important innovation. The online learning sector is rapidly gaining popularity worldwide. As research by Global Market Insights shows, the global online education market promises to reach $282.62 billion by 2024.

In 2018, it was $190 billion, in 2019 — $205 billion, in 2020 — $222 billion, and in 2021 — $241 billion. Trends in the growth of the domestic online education market lead to serious competition in the future among platforms offering identical educational programs. With high demands from users for the quality of educational services, as well as in competitive conditions, the process of attracting and retaining an audience on online platforms will become significantly more challenging. However, competition in the education market will promote the formation and updating of various promotion methods. This will also highlight the need for analyzing the tools and methods of promotion used in the field of additional online education. The concept of educational technologies and educational services is clarified. The dynamics of the growth of the educational services market from 2019 to 2023 is analyzed worldwide.

The main trends in the development of educational technologies in the near future are considered. Recommendations are developed on how to use these trends in the development of educational courses to improve the level of information assimilation by learners and improve their results.
