Abstract: The article examines the key features of management in veterinary service enterprises in Ukraine under conditions of digital transformation and intensifying market competition. The study emphasizes the importance of implementing innovative management approaches in veterinary clinics, particularly the integration of automated record-keeping systems and specialized software solutions aimed at enhancing the efficiency of administrative and operational processes. The research highlights the significant role of veterinary medicine in the development of the agricultural sector and the national economy, as veterinary services contribute to reducing economic losses associated with animal morbidity and mortality, while private veterinary clinics generate tax revenues and stimulate market activity.

The findings reveal that a considerable share of veterinary service providers in Ukraine represents small private enterprises, many of which encounter management-related challenges, including high staff turnover, insufficient levels of employee motivation, low communication efficiency within teams, and decreasing customer loyalty. These issues negatively affect the quality of service delivery and weaken the competitive position of veterinary clinics within the market.

The article underlines the necessity of adopting strategic management practices based on market research, customer-oriented service enhancement, and organizational restructuring. Additionally, the study identifies promising directions for improvement, including the wider utilization of digital platforms for client interaction, online appointment scheduling, and comprehensive electronic veterinary records. The analysis of foreign management practices in the veterinary sector demonstrates the effectiveness of collaborative models, specialization, and strong professional training systems, which may serve as valuable references for the domestic context.

Overall, increasing the integration of digital tools and innovative managerial approaches is considered essential for improving decision-making efficiency, strengthening market competitiveness, and ensuring sustainable development of veterinary enterprises in Ukraine.
